A few months back Jesico had the opportunity to head out to Japan to do a guest spot out in Fukuoka at AMITABAH TATTOO, with Horishow and his crew. And in return, after a visit to San Francisco, Horishow stopped over here for a week and kicked it with us. Throughout the years we’ve seen and met at conventions before but surprising enough, throughout all of his traveling, conventions and tattooing he has never made it to Hawaii, so we took great pleasure in his aid to gaining 10 hawaiian lbs before sending him on his way back home. It was loco mocos and plate lunches left and right. His reply was always “SO BIG!”… “WHY?” hahahah. Super cool guy and awesome tattoo artist, thank you Horishow!

For as many years now we’ve been involved with helping out at Shriner’s hospital even before Soul Signature was opened, back when New Tribal was still around. I don’t really know how it started but we still continue to frequent the hospital from time to time. There is usually some sort of function or special holiday for the kids happening when we go but even something as small as going to draw on some kids, still fells good knowing they enjoy it. A few are afraid at first asking if it hurts and other jump right in the chair, asking us if its real with a huge smile. We reply no, but you can come and see us when you’re 18. Heres just a few pics of the Jungle day Shriners put on for the kids. At first its always hard to see people with injuries and illnesses, but to see someone of these kids so young going through what they’re going through and still being able to have fun is pretty awesome. On a side note. This was the first time i had been the the newly renovated part of the hospital and that place is off the hook! Makes me want to brake my leg so i can go hang out there.
