Create and Innovate, But DO NOT Take!

Soul Signature is a family that involves artists from different race, living in different areas throughout the world, yet all are categorized by one thing, the signature work that they give to their clients. We are highly respected and known for our signature artwork either it may be a tattoo or painting, yet it is always original and customized for each particular individual. Our artists spend numerous hours creating and innovating, giving a unique and “original” artwork for each of our clients. We create with the outmost creativity, personality and individuality which signify a personal story that belongs to our clients.

Our clients become close friends to us because of their commitment of trust that bonds us through art. We end up building a spiritual connection because each tattoo given has a story behind it. So therefore it is not just any “ordinary” tattoo, yet it is a skin story just like the old shamans of older tattooed men and women. This is why you should not copy other people’s tattoo because once you do so; you are basically stealing and taking their soul.

I am writing this blog to notify this individual along with several people on this island who are doing tattoos at home on BLAST! A lot of his works are copy-cats from our website or from artworks done by artists within our tattoo family. I was very disturbed today to see a shirt from T&C done by this individual having the same style of artwork that was given to several of our clients  years ago. Coincidently, one of our clients was here at the shop getting more work done that very same day. What is most disturbing is that he is going around tattooing people with tattoos similar and/ copied and pasted from our influence.

Please create and innovate your own shit! We are all upset due to the fact that these clients spend money, time and commitment when getting work done here. This is a very serious matter. Have respect and do not go selling our work for couple dollars. It does not belong to you. It’s bad mana! Innovation means to be inspired by another artist. You may exchange ideas with each other adding your own ideas, creating a twist of your own. Please pick up your own style and be unique. Note too that some ideas cannot be innovated therefore it is called originality and this is where you failed to notice that what you are doing is completely taking.  To steal is taking straight from the soul. Please create and innovate and stop taking….Please respect our clients because at the end the work belongs to them, not me and definitely NOT YOU!!!

Aisea has been guest spotting there for the past two weeks and he will be there for another week before he heads back to homebase, Honolulu. The event was held at the MANIFEST, last Saturday the 19th. Put together by Lucky of Soul Signature/EverReady and Chad of APB. The show was turned out great. Tons of poeple showed up, all the boards got bit on, everyone seemed to be having a great time. LOPETI, KYLE and EUKAREZT killed it with there decks. Our annual visit to Shriners hospital to participate in their halloween party. The staff and kids always go above and beyond with the costumes and the decor.
